Part of the famed English riviera, Torquay is definitely worth a visit. If you are looking for inspiration for a morning visit to this lovely area please read on!
Have you ever roamed around aimlessly on google maps for fun? Well it was during one of my virtual Easter egg hunts that I came across an absolute gem💎.
Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves, was once home to ancient humans and Ice Age animals and there is something definitely very special when visiting this ancient site. As one of the best show-caves in the UK, a knowledgeable and courteous guide will explain the geological and historical importance of these caves that date back to 400 million years ago!
This is definitely an experience the whole family can enjoy with pre-booking online essential.
Your ticket also includes access to a varied gift shop and an outdoor woodland trail, which is great for children as they can pick up an activity book and spot the different animals on show.

Brunch ☕🍳🥓🥑
Look no where else other than Me & Mrs Jones for the best that Torquay has to offer for breakfast and brunch options. This place catches the eye with food and beverages to match its appearance.
With a bright and vibrant decor, plentiful food options and kicking coffee this is the place to be.
I enjoyed an Eggs Benedict with a sumptuous brownie to take away. A few of our party wanted vegetarian/vegan options and they were spoiled for choice. This place is so good, I may even plan a visit to Torquay just for the food!

Walk the English Riviera
Take in the fresh sea breeze with a walk across the coastal path of Torquay harbour. Park up on the sea front and enjoy the views, whether its a spot of shopping you are looking for or to relax with your feet up with a cold drink.
If you want to find out more about the area just research the multiple walking tours available, but for me, just walking around in the sun was enough!
